Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and technically strong Project Engineer – Robotics to manage and execute industrial robotics and automation projects. The candidate will be responsible for project planning, robot integration, commissioning, customer coordination, troubleshooting, and successful project execution within timelines.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in industrial robots, automation systems, and customer-facing project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute robotics and industrial automation projects from concept to commissioning
- Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams for smooth project execution
- Perform robot programming, installation, testing, and commissioning
- Handle integration of robots with PLC, vision systems, conveyors, and other automation equipment
- Prepare project documentation, technical reports, and installation plans
- Conduct site inspections and ensure readiness before installation
- Troubleshoot robotic systems and resolve technical issues during installation and production
- Ensure projects are completed within timeline and budget
- Support FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test)
- Provide training and technical support to customers
- Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards
- Travel to customer locations for project execution and support
Required Skills & Technical Knowledge
- Knowledge of Industrial Robotics and Automation Systems
- Experience in robot programming and commissioning
- Understanding of PLC, HMI, Servo, Sensors, and Pneumatic systems
- Familiarity with robotic applications such as:
- Pick & Place
- Welding
- Material Handling
- Palletizing
- Machine Tending
- Knowledge of electrical drawings and automation schematics
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and customer handling abilities

Educational Qualification
- BE / B. Tech / Diploma in:
- Robotics
- Mechatronics
- Electronics
- Electrical
- Instrumentation
- Automation Engineering
Experience Required
- 2 to 6 years of experience in Robotics / Industrial Automation Projects
- Freshers with strong robotics internship/project exposure may also be considered
